Jifuti

For travellers

How it works

Pick an island, book a room, meet your hosts. The short version of what happens when you make a reservation on Jifuti.

  1. 1

    Find your island

Explore the map and the islands. Each guesthouse lists its rooms, amenities, and real nightly prices in US dollars.

  2. 2

    Request to book

Choose your dates and rooms and enter your details. Pick how you'd like to pay — in advance, or at the property where the guesthouse offers it. No card is taken on Jifuti: you pay the guesthouse directly. The room is held while they respond.

  3. 3

    The guesthouse confirms

The guesthouse confirms your stay — and, if you're paying in advance, tells you how. If they can't take your dates, the hold is released and you owe nothing.

  4. 4

    Your stay

You get a confirmation with the guesthouse's contact details, so you can sort out arrival and transfers directly with your hosts.

Payment & cancellation

Jifuti doesn't take your money. You pay the guesthouse directly — in advance (the host will tell you how) or on arrival, where the guesthouse offers it. We earn a small commission from the guesthouse after you've stayed, so there are no card fees or markups on your side.

Cancellation — each guesthouse sets its own terms, shown clearly on its page before you book.
