Rasdhoo is the capital of Alif Alif Atoll, located on its own small atoll (Rasdhukuramathi), famous for diving, hammerhead shark encounters, and guesthouse tourism.

Rasdhoo is the capital of Alif Alif Atoll and the only inhabited island of Rasdhukuramathi Atoll (Ross Atoll), a small natural atoll located a few miles northeast of the main Ari Atoll chain. The island is approximately 58 km west of Malé and is renowned for its exceptional diving, including the famous Madivaru Corner where hammerhead sharks can be encountered. Rasdhoo has developed a thriving guesthouse tourism industry with numerous guesthouses, cafés, and dive centers catering to travelers seeking marine adventures. The island features a school, health center, and local shops. Visitors can enjoy world-class diving and snorkeling, explore a nearby sandbank, and experience authentic Maldivian hospitality. Rasdhoo's unique location on its own mini-atoll and its reputation for big marine life make it a standout destination in the Maldives.
